Adam Shoalts

Adam Shoalts is an explorer and writer whose expeditions have taken him to some of the least-explored places on Earth, including the the Amazon jungle and the desolate tundra of the Canadian High Arctic. His 2015 book, Alone Against the North, which detailed his solo trek through the Hudson Bay lowlands, earned rave reviews and prompted the Toronto Star to name him "Canada's Indiana Jones." Shoalts is a Fellow of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society and a frequent contributor to Canadian Geographic.
