New President elected
At the Society's Annual General Meeting on November 4, 2010, John Geiger of Toronto was elected the 13th President of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. An internationally-bestselling writer, John is best known for The Third Man Factor: Surviving the Impossible, and four other books of non-fiction. John is Editorial Board Editor at The Globe and Mail, and a Senior Fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto. He previously served as a Governor and Vice President of the Society.
