The Quest to find Canada’s next Geography champion is on!
Twenty teen geography phenoms are coming to Ottawa; five will make the finals. Only one will be crowned the Canadian Geographic Challenge National Champion. You can witness the students navigate their way through the high-powered gauntlet of questions in this game show-style competition. Here’s a taste of the kind of questions the students will face:
The Royal Canadian Geographical Society invites you to cheer the students on as they demonstrate their pure skill and knowledge of all things geography-related. See what it takes to become our 2016 Canadian Geographic Challenge champion.
- Grain from western Canada can be shipped through Hudson Bay when this port is open. Name
- Castleguard Cave, Canada’s longest cave, is located in this national park in Alberta. Name the park.
- The Khyber Pass formed part of the Silk Road connecting Afghanistan and this country. Name the country.
