Can Geo Talks 2017: Hobnails & Hemp Rope
Can Geo Talks presents a film and talk about the Bugaboo Spire Centennial Climb Project, a 2016 climbing expedition that recreated the Alpine Club Of Canada's 1916 conquest of the summit – using only equipment and gear that would have been available in 1916. A photo exhibit will whet your appetite for the images in the 25-minute film, and Members of the Centennial Climb will be on hand to discuss the project after the screening.
