A WALK IN SPACE
with Canadian Astronaut Steve MacLean
IMAGINE FLYING FROM VANCOUVER TO HALIFAX in less than 20 minutes
—or witnessing 16 sunrises and sunsets in one 24-hour period. That’s what
it’s like to hurtle through space at eight kilometres per second in a shuttle
and circle the entire globe every 90 minutes.

Musicycle Tour — Derek Olive
The Musicycle Tour had one goal in mind: to show people that sustainable
transportation doesn’t have to be a drag. Derek Olive hauled
his guitar, amps and other equipment from Powell River BC to Halifax
NS performing along the way.
Finding Farley Expedition — Leanne
Allison and Karsten Heuer
The finding Farley expedition was a 6-month cross-Canada
journey from Canmore AB by canoe, foot, supply ship, and sailboat
to make good on Farley Mowat’s invitation to visit him
at his Cape Breton farm. The route taken follows in the footsteps
of Farley Mowat’s northern novels.
