Maxwell Studentship in Human Geography

The James Maxwell Studentship in Human Geography is awarded annually by The Royal Canadian Geographical Society. It is for students enrolled in a Master's program at a Canadian university and engaged in thesis research on the human geography of Canada.

This studentship was named in honour of James Maxwell, a former Executive Director of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society.

The Maxwell Studentship in Human Geography will be awarded annually, if applications so merit, to a student in a Masters program at a Canadian university engaging in thesis research on the human geography of Canada. The Studentship is valued at $5,000 and is not renewable.
